Most of my projects typically begin in either Zbrush or Maya. I create my own HDRs and do all of the film work. After filming is complete and all models are created, I track my footage, if need be, in PF Track and Nuke then animate, texture and light in Maya. I render using VRay and Mental Ray. Once my renders are complete, I throw them in Nuke where I composite and finalize the piece. If needed, I then bring it into after effects where I edit the shots. This is how I typically go about a project. For a specific breakdown of my work, I include breakdowns on my website. For example, Grounded, a piece I recently completed is a combination of footage and CG. I began by filming on a Black Magic 4K camera and then tracked the footage in Nuke, modelled, textured and lit the assets in Maya and then composited in Nuke. The breakdown included in my website was done in After Effects and it includes all the passes I used in creating this piece.
