Yomi Adenuga

USA,  College station Texas A&M University,  Visualization,  May 07, 2016
Howdy y'all! I am Oriyomi Adenuga, but Yomi for short works fine too. I am a second year graduate student at the Visualization Department, focusing majorly on Lighting, and Compositing with a minor in shading . Though I can easily fill in as a Generallist,as I am verstaile in animation, layout and rigging also. Before I joined the animation Industry, I was an enthusiastic graphic designer, professional portrait photographer with a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction science...weird combo right? Ya! But I realized my passion brought me more joy everyday.
Being a professional photographer with over 5 years of lighting experience, has sharpened my observation skills, which were easily transferable when lighting and shading in a CG environment.

Recently, under the supervision of Dreamworks VFX Supervisor, Dave Walvoord. I took an independent lighting mood study, with focus on capturing the essence of a 'carnival' at night time. I lit this project in Maya, using mental ray and composited it with multiple passes in Nuke for the final look. This project taught me the importance of lighting keys, and the realization of lighting keys into CG renders.

With the knowledge, and skills I have acquired over these few years, I finally decided to take create beautiful moving images. And thus, started my journey in the VFX / animation Industry. Here's how far I've come...and with your votes! I can go even farther in learning from the best in the industry to make beautiful images. Every vote counts guys! So please vote. Thanks for reading! Enjoy!
