I'm a cg generalist with a particular interest in modelling. I attended Arts University Bournemouth, where I was a generalist (mostly modeller, texture artist, and rigger) on two graduation films. As a writer and digital painter too, I enjoy character and story creation, and have a lot of ideas jotted down that I'd like to make into short films; including the one that features the first monster in this reel, Cràdh (pronounced KRAA).

I design a lot of creatures and characters in my spare time; some of which I have done quick models of, included in this reel. I was lucky to be chosen for a placement at Aardman where I rigged my monster Cràdh, and was also fortunate to receive some Framestore training in tracking and compositing whilst at AUB, all of which has given me a decent knowledge of lots of processes in the production pipeline.

I aspire to one day be a character artist in feature films.

All of the work in this reel was produced by myself, including the design, modelling, UVing, texturing, rigging, rendering and compositing. The only exception is the last animated shot at 02:04 for which I produced the model, texture and rig for Akoben, the glowing snake/robot, the model and UV for the pit and ramp, and all the animation. The other two characters who appear briefly on screen at 02:06 were not modelled or textured by me, and the shot was rendered and composited by someone else.

Programmes used: Maya, Mudbox, Sculptris, Headus UV Layout, Photoshop, Mental Ray, Nuke and Premiere
