A detailed description of the projects in my demo reel (as they appear in chronological order):
- "Lindwurm" (2012):
personal festival trailer produced for the ITFS festival 2012 in Stuttgart; CG animated dragon composited into background plates shot at the Natural History Museum am Loewentor, Stuttgart. Responsible for direction & all digital elements; 3ds Max, Fume FX, V-Ray, After Effects, Nuke.
- "Citipati" (2015):
personal diploma project; full CG-animated film in stereoscopic 3D. Responsible for all elements (note: additional character texturing by Natalia Freitas); 3ds max, Phoenix FD, V-Ray, Nuke.
- "Lichtjahre" (2012):
fluid simulation of a zero-g water drop composited into background footage. Responsible for vfx supervision & all digital elements (water drop only): 3ds Max, mental ray, RealFlow, Nuke.
- "Halbe Portionen" (2010):
CG helicopter composited into panoramic backgrounds shot on location. Responsible for vfx supervision as well as animation, rendering & compositing of the helicopter (asset by Constantin Paeplow); 3ds max, V-Ray, After Effects.
- "Electrofly" (2015):
CG fly, drawings & grunge textures composited into background plates shot on location. Responsible for lead compositing & shot pipeline; Nuke.
- "The Rise and Fall of Globosome" (2013):
Cg animated film in stereoscopic 3d. Responsible for stereoscopic lead, 3d artist (incl. animation, rigging, environment, particle & fx simulation) as well as look development (not seen); 3ds max, Fume FX, V-Ray.
- "Robin Hood" (2013):
feature length student film with supporting visual effects. Resonponsible for lead compositing & fx simulation (CG window); 3ds Max, Nuke.
- "Chocolate Darwin" (2015):
experimental film project combining live action, puppets & CG elements. Responsible for lead compositing, fx simulations & look development; 3ds Max, Phoenix FD, V-Ray, Nuke.
- "What David really saw" (2014):
"student commercial" project; all visual effects were done as part of the studies under supervision of the Filmakademie; footage from "David after Dentist" (2008) used with permission. Responsible for creating the dragon asset, animation, rendering & additional compositing; 3ds Max, V-Ray, Nuke.
