I am a senior about to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art & Design. My time at SCAD has given me a well-rounded skill set in various visual effects disciplines. My primary skill is lighting, I am also well-versed in modeling, texturing, and compositing. This is my demo reel consisting of my work from the past academic year at Savannah College of Art and Design. This is a compilation of my work from Fall 2014 to the present.

Watching the Sky Change
Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Photoshop, Mixamo | Winter ‘15
A contemporary environment featuring a marble statue as its focal point. The changing lighting mimics the passing of time over the course of a day. The base model’s rig was created on Mixamo.com, responsible for all other aspects.

Apricots
Maya, Mari, Nuke, Photoshop | Fall ‘14
The primary goal of this piece was the incorporation of subsurfacing into the creation of CG fruit. The composition is based on the food photography of Helen Dujardin. Responsible for all aspects.

Lucky Cats
Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Photoshop | Winter ‘15
The goal of this project was to insert two reflective objects into a background plate. This was to be accomplished using an array of render layers that were produced in Maya, then utilized in Nuke. Responsible for all aspects.

Rolling Balls

The goal of this project was to insert two different types of rolling balls into a background plate. This was to be accomplished using an array of render layers that were produced in Maya, then utilized in Nuke. Animated by Sylvia Chambers, responsible for all other aspects.

Blood Bath
Maya, Mari, Nuke, Photoshop | Fall ‘14
This piece is based on The Death of Marat painting, but taking place in a modern setting. This particular coursework was advised by Ronman Yiu Yan (Lighting/CG Supervisor) and Milton Rodriguez (CG Supervisor) of Dreamworks Animation Studios. Responsible for all aspects except the orchid model.

The CG Student Awards - People's Choice Award is open to all entrants. This prestigous category is voted by the general public, not the judging panel. It gives everyone a voice, and allows for an open discussion of all the amazing entries submitted to the Awards.
