Abel Sardido Reyes

Norway,  Oslo Bournemouth University ,  Computer Visualisation and Animation BA (Hons),  November 07, 2014
Hi, my name is Abel Sardido Reyes and I graduated from Bournemouth University in November 2014.
The work presented is a mix of personal projects I have created recently and some projects created during my final year at Bournemouth University.

I specialize in modelling, texturing and hair/fur grooming, and I also enjoy sketching ideas on my sketchbook.
I am eager to share my skills and passion with the VFX community, and my goal is to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to either a small or a big VFX company, enjoy short deadlines with a creative team.and be a part of a group where the shared goal is to produce good quality VFX.

Arm Repair - A personal project where I created everything from 2d concepts to the final compositing in photoshop.
Squirrel Study - A personal project where I wanted to experiment and learn more about Maya's Xgen hair/fur tool and animal anatomy.
The Failed Prototype - A personal project where I wanted to create two different reactions to their failed prototype. I did the concepts, modelling and grooming on this project.
Next Level - The model I contributed with in my team's final year project at Bournemouth University. I also contributed with character design, hair groom and simulation, and compositing.
Portrait - A personal project where I modified and tweaked one of my models from my innovations assignment at Bournemouth University, and used this to learn more about the process of realistic
texture painting in Mari and Xgen as a tool for hair /fur grooming.
