Timothy Cole

Australia,  Sydney Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE),  3d Art Design for Computer Games,  December 06, 2015
My name is Timothy Cole and I am currently in my second year of 3d Art for Film and Computer Games at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) Sydney. I am enjoying learning all different aspects of the 3d pipeline, but in particular I really enjoy Texturing, Shading and Lighting and pretty much anything with a node graph.

So for our latest environment module I decided to focus on lighting and shading within UE4 and was amazed with the results I was able to achieve. I also took this opportunity to learn Substance Designer, and used it for pretty much every texture in the scene. I tried to focus on bringing a cinematic quality to my environment with the use of lighting and depth of field.

I am passionate about the 3d industry and look forward to building my skills and portfolio, and blending game and film techniques more.
