Game of the Year

Game of the Year

The Game of the Year category is open to all students who attended a course focused on preparing you for a career designing and building Next-Gen Games. We are searching for the best game created by students or recent gradudates. The game can be submitted by an individual or a team.

Our mission for this category is to draw attention to the best student created games and showcase them to the largest possible community of industry experts, fellow students and animation fans.

Our judges are looking for games that showcase amazing design and user experience, immersive and challenging gameplay, high entertainment value, and that good old addictive fun value.

To enter, students must have created their game while attending a suitable courses such as: Game Design, Game Development, Computer Animation, Bachelor of Computer Graphics, Animation and Interactive Media, 3D Computer Animation, and Interactive Entertainment. All other courses with similar curriculum are deemed suitable.

Student's must submit a brief description of their game, supporting images, and a video with gameplay and any relevant content that will best showcase their game.

Any of the following skills are suitable, but not limited to: Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Pre-visualisation, Architectural Visualisation, Animation, Lighting, Compositing, Live Action, Character Animation, Editing, Concept Art, and Programming.
