Wacom pens down. Entries Closed for 2015!

Posted by on in News

Wacom pens down, time is up! What an epic effort by everyone who entered. We are stoked to announce that you helped us crack the 1000 entry milestone. This completely blows our mind!

Congratulations to everyone who had the courage, initiative, and motivation to show your work to the world. We know it can be tough when work is often not to the quality that you know you can ultimately achieve. It can also be intimidating when the quality of work here is so high, but this industry is about getting involved, improving your skills, learning at your own pace, and getting feedback from anyone you can... so well done to those of you who submitted work.

I know we say it all the time, but we are constantly blown away by the incredible work submitted each year. There is so much untapped talent out there and we are stoked that studios, schools and the general public are all starting to take notice.

We now start the massive task of shortlisting our finalists. Our judging panel has been working hard over the last 10 weeks to keep on top of all the entries, but there is still a mountain to climb, loads of coffee to drink, and many heated debates ahead of us all.

The voting for People's Choice is still open until 27th May so there is plenty of time remaining to vote. Remember, please be fair! We have booted a bunch of people off the site for scoring people unfairly. We take this very seriously and it is not tolerated on any level. If you feel someone is blatantly scoring your entry poorly just to mess with your Top 40 ranking you can report them using the exclamation mark (!) button next to each score.

Once again, congratulations to everyone! Your work is absolutely incredible and we can't wait to showcase it to our studio partners and sponsors.

Andrew and Alwyn
