Having finished studying at Think Tank Training Centre Alexey now works as a Character Artist at Electronic Arts (EA)
The Autodesk Sponsored CG Student Awards today announced the winners for it's sixth annual Awards naming the best schools to study VFX/Animation and Next-Gen Gaming for 2015. Gnomon retained its #1 spot for the second consecutive time, with Savannah College of Art and Design jumping to #2 position on the list.

Talented Malaysian-born Daniel Kho recently graduated from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles. Daniel gives us a great breakdown of his "The Count". We were impressed with the he was able to match the concept art so closely.
Joshua Wu was kind enough to give us a breakdown of his Mutated Raptor character. Josh has been studying at 3D Sense Media School in Singapore and was able to call on the very talented Derrick Song as his mentor.
A detailed breakdown of “Space Worker”, a first game character made by Ray Le who has been studying at Think Tank Training Centre, under the mentorship of Pierre Bourgeot, the lead character artist at United Front Games in Vancouver, Canada.
Hannah Kang was kind enough to give us a breakdown of how she created this simple yet elegant image. It's amazing how a pose can change the whole dynamics of a character and that's why we were drawn to this image. Hannah currently works at Legacy Effects and studied at Gnomon School of Visual Effects
Servando Lupini takes us through the making of his Pumpkin environment that he created for last year's entry into the CG Student Awards. Servando was the winner of the 'Next-Gen Gaming' category and is currently working at Blizzard Entertainment as a 3D Artist.
"Roommate Wanted - Dead or Alive" is a claymation short film that follows a struggling medical student who “gets way more than he bargained for when his new roommate moves in,” which happens to be a zombie. The film is a graduation project that comes from Lærke Kromann and David Crisp of The Animation Workshop.
