Mountain of Glory

We are a Team of 4 students currently in our 4th semester. This is a project from our 3rd semester. We want to go in different directions such as concept art, character rigging and game development etc. The project was done in 3 months. We are based in Germany,

The game “Mountain of Glory” is based on a story about a female chronographer named Loi who is chasing Góon, a stereotypical hero who has hired her to write down his “majestic” story of chasing up an enormous mountain to gain fame and glory through a legendary “golden” well awaiting on top of it. While Góon already ran off in the beginning of the story leaving our protagonist behind on her own Loi discovers the horrific story behind the golden well and attains the key (a magical artefact) to stop the well from turning every Adventurer trying to gain it's legendary gold into statues of stone.
The legendary artefact bestows Loi with the Ability to reconstruct decayed ruins around her to use them to get through 6 different environments with different quests of mountain inhabitants who suffered under Góons ignorant “acts of heroism”.
The in game journal lists all the story elements together with small illustrations and side information to let the player immerse into the story of the mountain and its people.
