Little Miss Aligned was created using Unity 3D Pro as it`s main game engine.

We used Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3DS Max and Autodesk Mudbox in the creation of all 3D assets (modelling, rigging and animation).

We used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for all texture painting of the 3D assets and user interface creation.

All coding, lighting, user interface, sound and level creation was done within the Unity engine using C#.

All documentation was done using Google Drive and scheduling was done using the web application Trello.

We faced many challenges with this project. The biggest one of all was creating a tool that allowed us to shift things in 3D space using 2D logic. This meant moving and scaling objects without the player knowing what was happening. Other tools also needed to be created in order to slice the objects in order to make them appear more like puzzle pieces so they would fit together. These 2 tools provided us with new ways to design this game, but also provided us with many headaches. Levels needed to be re-created as the tool evolved in order to become more user friendly.
