A small mushroom creature sprouts from the ground, embarking on a challenging journey to release his spores and complete his life cycle.

All together the Creature Crew is made up of 8 friends from Media Design School in New Zealand.
We got together due to similar interests and wanted to make something a bit unusual and mysterious.
We spent 12 weeks bringing our little mushroom to life! He is based off a rare blue mushroom that you will find on the back of a $50 NZ bank note.
This is the first short film we ever made together and we made every mistake in the book, then learnt from it.
Although there wasn't mush-room for errors, we created Fawn before our deadline and he turned out to be a fun-gi.
