Mentors: Mark Simon, Mike Fabris, Kris Howald, Jim Sayers. Voice actor: Bruce Burrow,
Canada,  Oakville Sheridan College,  Computer Animation – Digital Character Animation,  April 30, 2015
My name is Tymur Markunin. I was born in Ukraine where I attended Odessa National 'I.I. Mecnikov' University to study languages. I hold a master's degree in Interpreting/Translating. In 2009 I decided to follow my passion for animation and moved to Canada to attend Digital Animation program in College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland. I graduated with President’s award for academic excellence in 2011. My final film "Friends" won Best Digital Character Award from Applied Arts Magazine. After graduation I worked for 3 years as a 3d artist for Memorial University of Newfoundland. I was responsible for the development of graphic models for marine vessels and offshore installations; graphical modelling and animations for the avatars, creation of walk-through models from a first-person perspective; and modelling geographical databases and cultural land objects. In 2014 I decided to upgrade my education and I moved to Ontario to attend post graduate Digital Character Animation program at Sheridan College. I've recently graduated and I want to share my final film "Phobia" with you. I hope you'll enjoy it!
