Sprintro

Jason Woosung Kang, Kaiyu Wang ,
USA,  San Francisco Academy of Art University,  VFX & Animation,  December 19, 2015
Hi, I am Jason Woosung Kang, CG Generalist and Motion Graphic artist. I studied Graphic design before, but was always eager to learn more 3D skills so I am attending Academy of Art University for VFX & Animation. I focused my studies towards conceptual design and animation skills with an accurate sense of timing and an artistic eye for composition. Also texture and lighting is one of my favorite parts as a generalist. It has been a really good experience and 2015 Fall will be my last semester.

This is a poster and a trailer video for my thesis project, Sprintro.
This is a futuristic racing robot which transforms during the game.

Final version is coming with breakdown this December.

From the scratch, I did almost all of the parts
and my friend Kaiyu Wang did environment modeling.

I used Maya and C4d for the modeling. For the animation, I captured myself at a motion capture studio to get some animations and cleaned it using Motionbuilder.
Also, I used Octane and Physical for texrue and lighting.

I hope you guys enjoy it!! Thanks!!
