First we, Jan Faßbender and Oliver Grotenrath, developed the story. Then Jan did the concept art, animated the pre-visualizations and edited them. After that Jan worked on the characters, did the modeling, texturing and rigging. Meanwhile Oliver worked on the environment and all of the props. He had a little help by Alexander Klein and Lukas Roschig, to other talented 3d students, who helped with the cupboards, the fish and a few minor props. After the characters where finished Jan animated all of the movements and started look-development. Then we went into simulation where Oliver did most of the fluid and physic simulations and Jan did the cloth simulations and a few additional fluid simulations. While Oliver did the last polished of the simulations, Jan lighted all the scenes and rendered them. Fortunately we could use many of the computers of our university over night, so that we could finish rendering with decent quality in just four weeks. Whenever a shot was finished rendering, Jan did the compositing and afterwards the motion graphics of the credits.
The music was composed by Philipp Lack, a music student of the cologne music college, and the sound effects where produced and edited by Niklas Grap, another student of the SAE Institute Cologne, who studies Audio Engineering. The voice acting was done by David Lüdgenhorst, a professional commercial speaker, who we could win over for our project.
