What's new for 2015

We value feedback from everyone involved with the Awards and based on a considerable amount of suggestions we have decided to implement these exciting new features for 2015.

The Awards now includes skills based categories rather than high level industry based categories. This means more options for entrants and sponsors.

We are excited to announce the introduction of team based entries for 2015. Get ready for "Short Film of the Year" and "Game of the Year".

All visitors can now add comments, follow profiles, and track every single activity through our proprietory community tools and commenting system.

Entrants have overwhelmingly asked us to share the judges scores with them. This will be a massive incentive for entrants that will increase signups.

We have introduced an advanced search feature to the Awards which allows visitors to interact with the Awards and will dramatically increase pageviews.

As the CG Student Awards continues to grow we are lucky enough to bring on new sponsors that help share our vision. Make sure to check them out.

We have curated a list of resources for creatives and technical artists in VFX/Animation/Games to help inspire and improve your skills.

We have been busy building content for the CG Student Awards online magazine. There will be loads of articles and special offers so bookmark it!
