The School of the Year category is a critical part of the CG Student Awards. It recognises and rewards the schools helping the next generation of digital artists enter the industry with strong skills, confidence, and a direction.
The School of the Year is decided based on a scoring system. Points are awarded to each schools based on the number of students who enter the competition and their overall placement in each of the categories. A sliding scale is awarded based on the level each student receives and the score they obtain from the judging panel.
